Design Center

How do I design a home?

Designing a home doesn’t have to be intimidating!  First, you pick out your floorplan, then pick your structural selections such as extra bedrooms or bathroom layouts with our on-site Community Sales Managers. Next, you visit our design center to pick interior options and finishes including cabinets, countertops, flooring, and more! Even if you’re not a designer at heart, our Design Center Manager can offer suggestions to help make your selections meeting a breeze! 

What is at your design center?

Our design center is filled with selections to personalize your home – hand picked by our designer, so it’s impossible to build a non-designer home!  We took the stress out of selections and have actual samples you can touch and feel – to ensure you love the selections in your new home.  We offer an array of exterior colors to ensure that no two homes look alike!  We have over 25 James Hardie Board colors, shutter colors, front door colors and brick colors to pick from for the exteriors of your home.  On the interiors, we also have an array of cabinet colors, countertop colors and styles, flooring colors and styles, lighting and plumbing faucet fixtures.  Plus, you don’t have to pay extra to meet with our designer – her services to help you build your new home are included with your new home purchase. 

What is the process of building a home?

If you have picked a home floor plan to build from the ground up – the process is fun and easy!  We will guide you every step of the way and also have a new app that is launching for our Homebuyers to follow along in your home progress!   First, you select your home and reserve that with your Sales & Purchase paperwork.  Then you pick selections, do final sign offs and sit back and relax while we build!  We keep you informed throughout the process as your home is built and will schedule your PreSettlement Orientation and Closing 30 days before you close.  Then you close and your home is yours!

How is Parkside Builders different?

This is a great question!  Parkside Builder’s is the only homebuyer in the Nashville area that is family owned and has been building for over 20 years, offering the look and style we do!  We are owned by a father-son team – who believe the community look and feel is just as important as each individual home.  We believe in being forward thinking in our product, designs and in how we run our company and value everyone’s unique individual selves. 

 

 

Can I work with my agent?

Yes, of course!  If you have a real estate agent, you have been working with – please bring them with you!  We welcome agents in our communities, or, if you don’t have an agent, that is okay too!  Many of our buyers come into our models from driving by everyday and finally deciding to stop on it and “check things out”!  So, it is completely up to you.

What is a quick-move in home?

A “Quick Move-In Home” is another name for a home that is already started or finished – and is available for purchase!  Our Design Center Manager chooses the selections for the home, so they look fantastic, and are available for purchase if someone doesn’t want to pick out selections – or is in a situation where they’d like to move in a shorter time frame than building!

Can I visit a home before purchasing?

 Yes, of course!  We would love to see you in one of our model homes – or you are welcome to visit our design center before your purchase. 

Do all communities have a model home?

Right now, yes, we do!  This helps you to see what our homes look like and gives you a chance to talk with our Community Sales Managers, who can tell you more about our community locations, community features, Preferred Lender teams and homes!
